Glazed Twist & Boston Cream: Super Fresh: Philadelphia, PA:
My boyfriend and I went to the market last night, and when we were browsing the bakery section, we saw these! Don’t those donuts look awesome? We thought so too, so we each picked one. I picked the glazed twist, which I believe is a caterpillar and my boyfriend picked Cookie Monster! Let me tell you, these things tasted as interesting as they looked. I’m going to be honest, all of that fluffy colorful icing is way to sweet and slimy for me, but the actual icing the used on the donut was freaking amazing! I’m almost positive they iced both out donuts first with white chocolate. I couldn’t get enough of that! Though I don’t like Boston cream donuts, overall they were both pretty good! Let’s face it, who wouldn’t want to a buy a donut that looks like that?

These remind me of how I crocheted a PopTart for an iPod case. I really need to spend more time playing with felt…

These look so good, I just want to eat them! Also, check out my other tumblr: beeboopbapbap.tumblr.com!

McCaffrey’s: Yardley, PA

Today I had to get some blood work done, so as a treat, my mom bought me these from McCaffrey’s market! Once again, I’m cheating a little since they’re not all donuts, but three out of four of them are glazed! There’s a vanilla-frosted apple cinnamon bun, a glazed cream-filled, a glazed cinnamon bun, and a glazed croissant. The glazed croissant should 100 percent count as a donut. Not only was it fried, but was purposely shaped and sized to look like one. Also, because it’s probably the best thing I’ve ever eaten in my whole entire life. Words cannot describe how good it was. My life would be complete if I could just continuously eat them. The cream-filled was also ridiculously good. It was definitely the perfect cream donut. Both are something everyone should try before they die. Seriously. The glazed cinnamon bun wasn’t anything special, but that’s probably because I tried it after the croissant. Sorry bun. But the apple one, that was just disgusting. Most likely because both my mom and I were not expecting it to be apple, which isn’t its fault. Sorry to you too. And sorry to Donut Connection because these definitely became my new number one.

Sad Doughnut

So true.

Dunkin’ Donuts: Philadelphia, PA

Today, while studying for finals in the library, my boyfriend surprised me with donuts! I know, most of you probably think it’s just Dunkin’ Donuts, but it was so much more. He got the classics, chocolate frosted, glazed, and blueberry cake, but he also picked up specialty ones as well. The two holiday ones were pumpkin cake and vanilla frosted that was dyed red with holiday sprinkles. The last one was one I had never seen before, which was chocolate cake with chocolate sprinkles. To be honest, the holiday ones were the bomb! Everyone should at least try the pumpkin one before it’s too late!
